Survey Says… VegFest O’ahu 2019 made an impression on festival goers for the 4th year in a row!
Can a celebration of edible plants really keep droves of foodies coming back year after year and influence them to make more plant based lifestyle choices? The results are in and the answer is “Oh-Kale-Yes it can!”

VegFest O‘ahu celebrates three successful years with this promo video. Watch local islanders share why this vegan festival is changing their lives. Interviews also include the Mayor of Honolulu, Kirk Caldwell, Presidential Candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, and VegFest O‘ahu Producer, Joy Waters.
VegFest Oahu’s Free Vegan Samples Tent was nothing short of an incredible success! Thanks to our generous contributors, we handed out thousands of vegan samples to attendees. The lines never stopped. The crowd was diverse and many had never tried vegan meats and cheeses before. It was absolutely amazing to be able to be front and center in educating our local community about the wide variety of tasty plant-based alternatives to animal products.
An island favorite, the traditional Loco Moco is made with eggs, beef, whites rice and is filled with fat and cholesterol. But you don’t have to give up your favorite dishes when you go plant-based. Here is a healthier version that has just a much taste with more fiber and nutrients!
