Down to Earth Organic & Natural is the CO- LEAD SPONSOR again for the fifth year in a row! Down to Earth has been helping improve the health of Hawaii’s residents for 40+ years by making available organic and natural products and community education, now at 6 locations. For the past 13 years, Down to Earth has won the Star-Advertiser’s People’s Choice Award for Best Health Food Store. “In Hawaii where so many residents suffer from diet-related illnesses, VegFest O‘ahu provides a valuable service by calling attention to how people can attain better health through eating a plant-based diet. Additionally, a plant based diet is truly environmentally friendly and reduces global warming,” said Mark Fergusson, Down to Earth’s CEO. “We are proud sponsors of VegFest O‘ahu and we will provide strong promotional support to help ensure its success, as well as actively participate in the event by having a booth selling delicious vegan food from our renowned deli, present a cooking demo and health talk.”

Hawai‘i Tourism Authority – is the CO-LEAD SPONSOR in 2020, through funding from their Community Enrichment Program (CEP). For 2020, HTA has awarded $2.65 million through its CEP to 94 programs committed to making Hawaii a better place for our collective future – including VegFest O‘ahu! The CEP fosters community-based tourism projects to improve and enrich Hawaii’s product offerings. It supports a diverse array of festivals, events and year-round programs in the niche areas of culture, education, health and wellness, nature, agriculture, sports, technology, and voluntourism. These community-based projects provide unique, authentic and highly-valued visitor experiences and represents activities that are developed by our community, for our community, and are things the community is willing to and wants to share with our visitors. CEP encourages innovative tourism products. HTA is the state’s official source for information on tourism market research, partnership opportunities, industry news and timely updates during emergency situations.
