Set-Up Team

Help us bring VegFest O‘ahu to life in the morning! Looking for a cheerful and passionate crew who will come early and help us make the magic happen. Free festival T-shirts to the first 25 who join us!

VOLUNTEER ROLE:  Set-Up Shift is Sat., Sept 21 from 8:30am to 11:30am. You will assist with a variety of activities, including: hanging signs, helping vendors unload gear, setting up tables and chairs, laying cord covers, opening boxes, displaying literature stacks, etc. To become a volunteer for the Set-Up Team please fill out our SIGN UP FORM.

We have enough volunteers for the Set Up Crew – no longer taking any more for this area.

Info Booth Team

Our Info Booth is home base where our attendees can ask questions and get assistance, as well as where we sell our VegFest O‘ahu t-shirts, stickers, and collect donations. Looking for responsible, ethical, friendly, people-loving to be on the team (6 people max)! This role is subject to a phone interview to confirm. We offer confirmed team members a free festival t-shirt AND a Meal Ticket (good at select vendors and allows you to skip the line) AND Year Long Membership Card for Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (good for 5-10% discount at Down to Earth stores and island restaurants).

VOLUNTEER ROLE:  Each shift is 3 hours long. 11:00am – 2:00pm OR 1:30pm – 4:30pm. You will assist with: selling VegFest O‘ahu merchandise, answering questions from attendees, and keeping literature table neat.

We have enough volunteers for the Info Booth – no longer taking any more for this area.

Pack-Up Team

Celebrate the day’s victories with us at the end while we put it all away and leave no trace on the land. Looking for a cheerful crew who will stay late to help us make sure we stay pono with the land and our resources. Free festival T-shirts to the first 10 who join us!

VOLUNTEER ROLE:  Pack-Up Shift is Sept 21, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. You will assist with a variety of activities, including: taking down signs and packing carefully, gathering all reusable festival gear, loading gear in cars, etc.
